April 2008
Marketing Direct has just announced its 2008 telemarketing league table for the UK 's top contact centre companies. This year MGt is delighted to be ranked in 11 th place and recognised as one of the UK 's leading companies, showing strong growth in 2007.
Commenting on this year's survey Rob McLuhan, Marketing Direct, stated “For the second year there has been a striking emphasis on changed attitudes. Until recently, suppliers were lamenting the dire effects of their clients' penny-pinching. Today, the complainers are in the minority, and the talk is more about the importance companies attach to good customer service. That seems largely to be the result of the offshore phenomenon, which has rebounded in ways hard to imagine. With TV ads now offering a UK contact centre as a unique selling point, quality has taken centre stage.”
Jonathan Guthrie, Chief Executive Officer at MGt was delighted with the result. “Our ranking in the premier league of contact centre companies is testament to the rapid growth we have experienced over the past four years. This is a result of the superior team we have put in place to deliver excellent customer service through innovative technology, quality people and robust processes.”
