Triple-play service provider, Inuk Networks, has announced a five year deal with customer management and technology solutions provider MGt.
The deal will centre on the co-development of a unified customer interaction solution to support Inuk's Freewire triple-play offering.
MGt will provide technical support, software solutions, customer interface technology, CRM, subscription fulfilment and billing for Freewire customers.
The flexibility of MGt's technology solutions will enable Inuk to further white-label its support packages to the major ISPs, telcos and resellers. This will allow the company to expand its student base to UK residential customers and other markets.
Freewire TV, Inuk's branded platform for the delivery of IPTV video services to consumers, was first deployed to students over the JANET high-speed network which connects the UK 's higher education institutions. This enables the delivery of a broadcast quality television service to students in halls of residence where the installation of aerials and satellite dishes is restricted.
Marcus Liassides , CEO at Inuk commented, “We approached MGt because of its IPTV and broadband market expertise, along with its excellent history of launching and managing customers over a number of platforms. MGt's unique understanding of IPTV customer interactivity will enable us to maximise the potential reach of Freewire TV's offering.”
“Freewire TV has made a huge leap in the last year,” said Jamie Mackinlay, commercial director at MGt. “Building on this success in the university' sector, MGt will work with Inuk to expand and develop the service so students living in private rented accommodation can have access to the same choice and viewing experience.” |
