MGt announced today that it will be creating 120 new jobs mainly at their Kirkcaldy offices, with some also at the Methil operation.
The news was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who was given a first-hand briefing of MGt's plans at a major breakfast seminar held at Adam Smith College this week. Mr Brown also gave his backing to the company's recruitment drive which will focus on customer service and outbound sales teams.
Jonathan Guthrie, Chief Executive at MGt said "We are a growing company and we are actively seeking recruits into the business to help support the growth of our existing clients and to support new clients brought on board over the last few months. Our business is looking very positive and we are hoping to make similar announcements in the near future."
He continued "The underlying picture is encouraging. We are seeing a growth in innovation. The media industry is in itself going through a period of definement. That's exemplified by the fact that we are recruiting over 120 people. In particular, we are focussing on our technology strengths and international ambitions."
